Peter Miller's Bluebird Series - Exhibition of Original Paintings - though 2010

Since 1992, Peter Miller has been inspired by the early motoring scene and the evocation of the Golden Era which it personified. This interest led him to the historic motor racing circuit at Brooklands where he encountered the ghost of Sir Malcolm Campbell, and became engrossed by the World Land & Water Speed Record exploits of both Sir Malcolm and his son Donald Campbell. The paintings on exhibition are for sale, with 40% commission being most generously donated to The Bluebird Project, which aims to bring the fully conserved & rebuilt Bluebird K7 back to Coniston for display in a purpose-built extension to The Ruskin Museum. Bluebird’s return is scheduled for 2011.
